For those who are interested, a new nine minute trailer for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe can be streamed from HERE. The stream should kick off automatically in Windows Media Player. Not fantastic quality, but good enough to get me hideously over-excited :D

And now I shall fall into bed. Night!

I have been so in the mood to read those books lately. Argh.

Thanks for the link to the trailer!

(And PS: I made up for not writing yesterday. Yes!)

I've got a FEVER, and the only PRESCRIPTION is more CHRISTIAN IMAGERY.

I keep thinking of buying them, but then I spend ten minutes seething over where my copies ended up. I really liked the trailer, though. Liam Neeson has grown on me as Aslan.

And yay for the writing! I hope your trip goes well! Safe driving, and all that!

My pleasure! I'm really looking forward to this, too. Hopefully it'll be better than Harry Potter, too!

So you weren't so enthused about Harry Potter either? I thought the first part was pretty funny, but when the tournament started it got a little sluggish. Not really bad, I liked the creatures and all, but I thought it was too long. :/

I hated the first half hour, but the rest of it was... reasonable. They could have chopped down the first task and used the extra time on building Harry's relationship with Dumbledore at the end.

Lord Voldemort was awesome though!

I loved the Chronicles of Narnia as a child and recently got the collection.

I remember seeing an animated version of "Lion..." and "The Last Battle" in grade school and loving it to death. Of course, that's all I remember so I won't be comparing this movie to it.

I don't care if people think it's some kind of propaganda by the Religious Reich to get more Christianity into the world. I don't care if it's seen by someone as an allegory to the life of Jesus. The stories fucking rock!
