Char siew bao
Sep. 13th, 2005 06:56 pmOMG. How have I lived without these? They're definitely worth the effort of spending all day in the kitchen. They're the ultimate in sweet-savoury goodness--and a very heady eating experience; such a complex flavour--and my only regret is that I still can't find the battery charger, so no pictures. (Hopefully Dave will be able to unearth it when he gets home.)
I suspect I'll be spending the rest of the week in the kitchen making a few kilos of char siew so that I can easily whip up some buns whenever the fancy takes me :D
