1. Air-conditioning.

Sometimes we take the simplest pleasures for granted. I lived without AC for twenty seven years, and now I'm not sure I could stand being without AC, even crappily working, like ours. Or maybe it's a sign of getting old, lol.

The sad thing is, that when I said air-conditioning... I meant a fan. I'd love real air-con, but it's so expensive in the UK :(
