It's not often that you hear a Caithness accent on the telly, but when one pops up, my head whips around. To my absolute astonishment I saw Claire Arrowsmith, my friend from nursery school through high school. So weird. She still looks exactly the same. And thin. Damn her.

I'll have to drop her an email....

She was on 'Airline'. It's a documentary show that follows Easyjet's staff around the airports that they work out of. Anyway, she was taking a hearing dog for the deaf to Glasgow to meet his new owner. The flight was its last exam--she was featured as (a) dogs are unusual in the cabin of planes and (b) she missed her flight, which is quite typical for Claire ;)
