Driving went very well today!  That's two weeks in a row.  A new record for me.

The only down side is that Sarah is now on holiday for two weeks, and I'm sure I'll have forgotten lots and lots by the time I next get behind the wheel.  I'll have to unearth some driving games and practice on those :)  Now if only there was a game where you could practice reversing around a corner....

I have a new bunny, which is all evaine's fault.  It's a very sad and eerie James/Lars bunny.  This latest profusion of bunnies is a clear sign of last-chapter-itis--I'm doing everything possible to avoid writing the last chapter of my current WIP.  As per usual.  I also have a bunch of stories to beta.  Back to the grind, I guess....

Damn that last-chapter-itis. Mine's manifesting itself in the form of running the spin-off PWP through my brain every time I try to think about the chapter I need to do. "Okay, Jason gets off the plane at the airport in Michigan and--yeah, James'll grab his arms over his head and I'm picturing them on the couch, but James probably wouldn't want people walking in, so I've gotta get them to the bedroom.... Right. Jason, airport, family. Ugh."

Yay for driving! You won't forget much in two weeks, and you'll remember quickly what you actually did forget. It's like bicycling. You don't forget how to bicycle even if you haven't been on a bike for years, right? :)

Err... the last time I tried to get on a bicycle, I went splat. Very spectacularly. Despite being a very proficient rider in my younger years. *gulps*

But yes, I get what you're saying, B. I'll still have fun driving from the comfort of my sofa though. Maybe there'll be a Grand Prix on, which will let me concentrate on my imaginary driving instead of making all the right noises ;)
