allanaJust got a letter from the letting agency advising us that the landlord does want to renew our tenancy. Yay! Alas, it's for 12 months with a 6 month break, but I guess I can live here alone for a while if Dave does get a transfer to Bristol. I'm so relieved to not have to move house again. After a couple of seriously irritating years where the landlord either died or decided to sell the house I was expecting to find myself traipsing around lookig at grotty houses again. So, yay! I just want to settle and buy a house and then paint all the walls with actual colour rather than magnolia.
In other news, I've arranged to meet up with my friend Andrew from Perth (Australia not Fife) on Monday. Which should be... interesting. I've been chatting with Andrew since about '97 I think. He was one of my first serious boyfriend's friends, and whilst I had a less than amicable breakup with the asshole I still stayed friends with all of his friends. Hah. The power of the internet at work. I've seen a picture of him once or twice and all I remember is Big Beard.
Wow - completely random. Just watching a very dreamy and contemplative Rob in Ozzy's video for "Dreamer". Oddly I fancy him with all his clothes on. Weird.
