Why can't people use fucking virus protection? I bet they don't use condoms either....
Someone, somewhere, who probably only emailed me once with an inane comment about crumpets, has a mass-mailer virus on their PC. Which is merrily spoofing my address and thus my innocent mailbox is getting hammered with delivery failure reports and the occasional irate email. I'm getting almost pissed enough to check the IPs of all the email I've bothered to keep in my inbox... just to see who the cretin is.
I'm also getting teen porn URLs sent to me. Well. Sent to non-existent addresses at my domain. Being your own web master sucks on occasion. Plus! The actual blog is getting hammered with trackback spam for horse-sex, teenage fisting, bukkake, granny-sex, and... necrophilia. Any future posts I make--I'm undecided whether I'm going to bother keeping up the blog or not--won't have trackback enabled. Which is a shame. I do like to see where I'm referenced.
All this started about a week ago. Aside from the trackback spam. Unsurprisingly, given the content, it comes in fits and spurts.
Woe.
Oh! Talking of crumpets. I got an email this morning from someone who wants me to write them a bulk crumpet recipe. So that they can start up their own mail-order crumpet business, in California. Sure, honey! Right after you deposit £1 million into my current account....
Some people shouldn't be allowed to access the internet.

Date: 2005-05-16 11:41 am (UTC)Oh joy! You can't even use it for inspiration for future kinky fic. That sucks! I hope it'll stop soon.

Good lord. Some people... Maybe you should be snarky. Some people rightfully deserve it.
