Work continues on my Kirk/Jerry/James fic--tentatively entitled "Fire and Ice". I've been bimbling around with it for a long time now, and with Andy's help I've figured out what the problem is. The poor thing didn't want to be a one-shot. Oh no... it wants to be a multi-chaptered monster. Woe. Still, could be worse. It stands at 3100 words currently, but at least 3/4 of that is rough notes so it'll probably end up longer.

Aside from writing, not much else is going on. The dishwasher continues to provide joy to our household. The library sent me a nice little letter to let me know that the book I ordered has arrived (As Meat Loves Salt), so I'll go and collect that next week.... Yeah, not a lot going on.

ETA. 4556 words. Go me!

Sorry, Ang... no sympathy from me. I love the multi chaptered monsters, so I'll be looking forward to yours. (Just don't like waiting for the next chappie to be posted, lol. No patience, yanno. But often can't resist reading before the story is completed.)

Bah. But I need sympathy! *bottom lip wobbles tearfully* I completely understand about waiting impatiently for the next chapter to be posted. I'm trying to get the brunt of the story written before posting anything--mainly, it has to be said, to reassure myself that I have an ending!
