I think I'm going to take up knitting again. I'm trying to limit the amount of time I spend poring over cross-stitch, it's on the verge of being too small for my eyes which is really sad. I've found this free pattern which I'm thinking of doing in a nice red when I manage to convert the needle sizes into UK ones and unearth an equivalent yarn easily available in the UK too. Red clothes are only in the shops at Christmas-time, and for the past two years I haven't actually seen any nice ones (in any size). So, it would be fab to have something nice in either a scarlet or a blood-red.

Driving today went well--I can parallel park nicely now, just need to build in observation whilst doing all the tricky stuff. That'll come in time, I think!
