Well, this is the most bizzare thing I've read. Well, this week, at any rate. Harry Potter meets Discworld in a chaotic whirl of imagery and wands. It quite cheered me up!

Talking of bizarre stuff....

ithurtsmybrain has a new list of pairings up. For those who haven't encountered this brain-melting community, they take a very long list of names from fandoms, both familiar and obscure, chuck 'em in a hat, and pull out some very, very funny pairings. The current list has some hilarious pairings and also quite a few that I would love to see. I might even offer up a limb to see "340. Nate Grey (X-Man)/Captain Jack (Doctor Who)/Andre Marek (Timeline)" and I can actually think of a semi-plausible way to get them into the same time/space.

However. This little gem towards the end has really caught my attention:

725. Brian Kinney (Queer as Folk US)/Jane Drew (The Dark is Rising)/Granny Weatherwax (Discworld)

How fucking awesome is that? Selfish bastard/girly, sensible peace-maker/acerbic crone.... All guaranteed to get on each other's nerves, but Jane will be doomed to smooth over the troubled waters.
