May. 15th, 2005 08:43 pmWork continues on my Kirk/Jerry/James fic--tentatively entitled "Fire and Ice". I've been bimbling around with it for a long time now, and with Andy's help I've figured out what the problem is. The poor thing didn't want to be a one-shot. Oh no... it wants to be a multi-chaptered monster. Woe. Still, could be worse. It stands at 3100 words currently, but at least 3/4 of that is rough notes so it'll probably end up longer.
Aside from writing, not much else is going on. The dishwasher continues to provide joy to our household. The library sent me a nice little letter to let me know that the book I ordered has arrived (As Meat Loves Salt), so I'll go and collect that next week.... Yeah, not a lot going on.
