Can't sleep

I can't sleep, so I've been working on fic. My sappy Dave/Het ficlet is almost done. It should be served with complimentary insulin. Seriously.

I've been contemplating writing some more Puck stories. First of all evaine made me think of the potential chaos if Puck decided to broaden his horizons and visit Sodom-by-the-Bay (aka San Fran) to see James.  What if he didn't find James, but found Bob Rock instead?

Help.

And then, I started to wonder about what Puck does, in between seducing rockers (or anyone else) who wander into his woods.  I can't imagine him spending millenia knitting.  It would be a shame to just leave the gig of research I have on faeries and not attempt anything original....  I'll let that idea ferment for a decade or so.

Other thoughts concerned how James and Jason got to Shiner.  Argh.  It was only supposed to be a fucking trilogy.  Now my brain is frantically trying to connect that trilogy and the longish 1986 story that I'm planning.  Goddammit!  With any luck, my brain will discard that thought by the morning.
