Strike two!
Mar. 23rd, 2005 02:54 amYet another completed fic! I never thought I'd see any merit in having a folder full of unfinished plot bunnies, but there seems to be some!
For those who are interested, it's Infinity over on Rockfic. Adult themes, RPS, don't click if under eighteen etc. I don't have any kiddies on my friends list, but who the fuck knows who clicks through?
Anyway. I'm informed that it isn't sappy; it's sad. So, set aside your insulin and haul out a box of Kleenex. Bit of an experiment in writing style, but I actually quite like the results.
In other, boring, news... it is officially too hot to sleep. It's only March! Hence I am wide awake, whilst desperately wishing I was asleep. This does not bode well for the summer months.

Date: 2005-03-23 07:04 am (UTC)I've added "Infinity" to my RL. I'm going to need a box of Kleenex? Oh no...
I wish it was too hot to sleep here. I still wear socks to bed because my feet get so cold :(.

Date: 2005-03-23 09:02 am (UTC)It was still too hot when I went back to bed, but I think I managed to get about five hours in the end. Hope spring arrives soon for you, K! That sounds horribly cold.

Date: 2005-03-23 10:33 pm (UTC)Reminds me, in a good way, of that quote/story about Isaac Asimov who visited a class one day. They were studying one of his short stories and the professor was reading more into the story than Asimov had ever intended when he wrote it. [I'm paraphrasing horribly, here.]
Asimov interrupted, and said that he hadn't intended any of that when he wrote it. And gave his version of what the story was about.
The professor retorted snippily: "With all due respect, Mr Asimov... you only wrote the story. You are hardly qualified to discuss it."
Heh.

stoleborrowed it.
