If you, as a reader, are vehemently against slash fiction, then why read a story clearly marked as slash and leave an unpleasant review complaining that all the characters are homosexual or bisexual? It's unnecessary and a tad rude. NB. This wasn't my fic, I'm just pissed on behalf of the author.

This little gem isn't going to win you any friends either: "this seems interesting.keep postzing more and please stick to het and gen.i couldn't bear to have another slash story on this site."

Can't we all just get along? Keep your eyes open for the warnings on fic; if they coincide with things you already know you don't like, then don't fucking read 'em.

On a completely different subject--anyone know what I can use to replace frozen whipped topping in a recipe?

Oh, I just stumbled across one of her reviews this afternoon, then after spluttering, looked at the rest she'd left and decided that she was an absolute idiot. Since I felt ranty, I thought I'd make a point of writing about it.

It's a shame that we can't reply to other people's reviews. Well, sometimes it is. Other times, it would be a bad thing :P

It happens in any fandom, people who only read slash get eyestabbed when reading het and complain, and vis versa.

If people were less stupid and actually read the gen/etc stuff clearly we wouldn't have wee delicate petals being so upset, but expecting people not to be stupid is pointless.

Any review that isn't positive, but doesn't include proper con/crit should be ignored for sanities sake darls! :)

Yes, I quite agree. This was just the first time that I'd encountered it in my current fandom/genre. Which is quite surprising, really! Usually it's a bastion of tolerance.
