Ahh... there's nothing like new people coming round to ensure that the house gets cleaned from top to bottom!

I invited one of Lucas's friends from school round on Thursday for mince pies and fun (Lucas is convinced that it will snow so that they can build a snowman together) and now I am tidying and cleaning to make sure that his mummy thinks that I am A Good Person :P

On the plus side, I've found 76p which I am claiming as my own and have also unearthed some resistance bands that I was looking everywhere for a few weeks ago.  It's like pirate treasure!!

I am wondering if I should have a pre-emptive chucking out session before Sunday.  I have heard worrying (but lovely) things about sackfuls of presents for Lucas...

Any kind of company coming over is enough to have me scrubbing away at every surface. It's not that our house is messy as such, I think I'm just over living in a flat with three other people, with other people's stuff everywhere.

How is Lucas likely to take a chucking-out session?

He did chuck out a game today which was missing some of its pieces. It's a start.
