So, am I the only person--aside from Dave--who thought that Dr Who 3x12 was appalling? Aint' It Cool News is gushing about it, all of LJ appears to be squeeing and flailing about it... and it was horrendously awful.

The best part of the episode was the correct usage of decimation.

Was is that bad? I've not been able to see it yet (dinner out+Aerosmith=not TV time for Kate) and I've been fastidiously avoiding spoilers.

In other news: Ousiders: Sum of all Evil, anyone? Not the Dick/Roy scenes I was thinking of, but inspiring nonetheless.

I finally got around to watch DW last night (have been distracted by my new Gilmore Girls box set this week).

I enjoyed it in places. I did like the little nods to Torchwood because it really irritates me when shows/films/books that take place in shared universes completely disregard each other....like in the Star Trek films: no mention of a) Worf's marriage or b) his wife's death, which I think was supposed to have happened fairly recently, and you would think his firends would make at least passing comments! Wow. Wandered off on a tangent there.

Mostly I felt there was something lacking, although I am intrigued to see how Martha Jones saves the world next week.
