allanaI bought a gorgeous red hip scarf last night, covered in tiny gold coins and beads. It makes the most amazing noise when I shimmy--I'm very pleased to discover that I am doing it right. Can't wait for next week's class now :D
I also got asked by the teacher if I'd lost weight since I started going to class, so clearly people are noticing at last! Yay! I bought a new top yesterday and discovered that I've dropped another size again!
Right now I'm sitting around waiting for rhubarb puree to freeze. I'm theoretically making Rhubarb Friands this afternoon, but it very much depends on whether the rhubarb is frozen before five.... (If you're terribly confused, I'm putting cubes of rhubarb puree in the middle of the friands so that you get a nice surprise--presuming you like rhubarb--when you bite into them.) If not, I'll be making them tomorrow morning as tonight we're off out boozing for Chris's birthday.
Speaking of which... I'm sorely tempted to jump in the car and race back to the Mall to find some jeans. Having looked at the website for the rock club we're going to, I'm going to look painfully out of place/overdressed. Woe. All I wanted was a black sleeveless top (and if it showed lots of cleavage that would have been nice, too). What I got was a purple sleeveless top which was marignally better than the tomato-red one.
I cannot wait to hit 'normal' sizes. I'm getting fed up of being restricted to a handful of shops and having a wardrobe the size of a gnat.
