Absolutely shitty day. There are no words for how pissed off I am. However....

I am now too thin for all my trousers, even the ones that I packed away mid-pregnancy! I think I may even have to go down two sizes when we do an emergency dash to the shops--which may actually be tomorrow, now that I look at the time.

I still can't actually see where the weight has disappeared from, but I suppose that I'll have to believe the scales when they tell me that I've lost 2 stone (28 lbs, you Yanks). Maybe I'll believe it after I waddle round the shops, desperately trying to keep my clothes on :P

Why do I have nothing with belt loops??

I know what you mean though. When I *did* lose weight (i've put it all bloody back on now), I made the mistake of running for the bus. Looked like a right tit hauling my trousers up back over my hips. I have now rediscovered belts.

I bought a belt after much grumbling in Evans--they never have any plain belts, just horrible studded/fake crocodile/cowgirl/sequinned ones. Still, I'm in long tops for the forseeable future, so no one will notice my hideous belt!

(And I ended up hovering on the verge of size 24 :) Soon I'll be able to widen my shopping horizons! And if you're looking for a diet buddy in a few months, I'll be happy to join you again....)

Thanks, H! I need to spend some time trying on all my old clothes and seeing what (if anything) fits. Unfortunately I think I threw out all my smaller sizes when we moved house :(

Oh, I don't mind having to get new trousers (other than kicking myself for throwing out all my smaller sized ones when we moved.)

It's just nice to finally see that I'm smaller than pre-pregnancy. Long may this downward trend continue!!
