I wish I could watch a program where anyone uses the word "metal" at all here. Let them call Aerosmith metal as much as they want. I'd love them for playing anything heavier than Black Eyed Peas.

But no: no Aerosmith and definitely no metal in my fucking TV. :(

How awful :( I thought that you had at least one decent channel? Maybe I'm thinking radio. I ran across the Black Eyed Peas the other day, making a guest appearance in an awful TV show (Las Vegas, worst show ever) and they were as awful as ever.

I have cable and can't install a satellite antenna, so I'm stuck with MTV and VIVA. VIVA used to have a half hour of metal every Friday (Hell's Kitchen) and MTV had the Rock Zone once a week, ranging from the likes of Beatstakes or Distillers (*blergh*) to Metallica, Maiden or Slipknot. I'll have to check out VIVA's Get The Clip Rock. But yeah, that's about it. I wish I could watch Headbanger's Ball every now and then. :( They don't broadcast via internet, do they?

Radio is slightly better. There's one station playing rock classics (even though there's a lot of repetition) and there's good ole AFN. As much as I loathe everything that has to do with military, but I love AFN.
