Sep. 14th, 2006 01:17 pmSpeck is fine, apart from being the wrong way up. If he's still breech in two weeks then they'll try and turn him. That should be fun. My tummy has grown lots again, but some of that could be due to his odd position.
I'm physically fine. Knackered from all this walking but apparently my body copes better with stress than my mind does.
I am way more anxious than the average bear, but after a long discussion about the likelihood of stillbirth, Edwards, Turners, me doing something wrong etc, I feel slightly better and I'm not going on any sort of list. I'll probably request continuous foetal monitoring during labour despite the fact that it always hurts me. What's a bit more pain versus quick intervention if required? With the way I'm feeling just now, I'm probably not going to have much energy to move around during labour as I originally wanted, so if I'm going to be curled up on the bed (sobbing, no doubt) anyway, then I might as well get hooked up.
And now it's time for lunch followed swiftly by a fun DVD.
