I passed my driving test today!

Huzzah!

(I strongly suspect that I'm still in shock. I keep expecting the examiner to ring me and say that it's all been a terrible mistake.)

It really does, but at the same time it feels weird. Making the leap from a small manual to quite a large semi-automatic is a bit of a challenge.

Actually everything feels like a challenge just now. I parked on the wrong side of the road for the first time and had to go back and forth to straighten up. The same happened with bay parking at an angle. I wish I'd been taught these little things as well as all the stuff I needed to pass my test. Going to the petrol station will be another adventure!!

Still, by next weekend I hope to be driving on my own.
