We started watching season one of Lost last night. I know, I know... we must be the last people in the whole, wide Internet to not have seen it, but it was absolutely worth the wait.

I am hooked and bursting with tons of crazy theories. I'm a bit miffed that they're focusing on everyone's stories before the crash more than what's happening on the island just now, though, and I dread seeing the Korean couple's story. (I really loathe that man.)

On a more prosaic note, I really want to holiday in Hawaii now.

oh! oh! Charlie really is the best character in it :) And Hurley too I think...

I've not actually seen ALL of it. I was really loving the first few episodes, but i have a short attention span and thus missed some towards the end and still have the last 2 on video - which I've not watched. And yeah... apparently something AMAZING happens.

I really liked Hurley but am now worried that he harbours some dark, dark secret. I bet he pegs neighbourhood dogs out on the lawn at night or summat. I'm still warming up to Charlie. All Dom's characters--that I've seen--have been very endearing and this is a bit of a departure.

Still, I am champing at the bit to see the rest of it!!

We didn't have time to follow the first season when it originally aired here, but watching four relatively short eps a night is workable. You'd love the conflict, I think.

Hmmm... I like Jin. He comes off as a real jerk in the beginning, but he DOES have redeeming qualities. Sun, I've come to dislike more and more... odd that, eh?

We've only watched the first four episodes, and I cannot imagine what could redeem him. I went from mildly horrified, to shocked and then to appalled. (Admittedly I'm touchy on anything remotely concerning pregnancy, but still!) He struck me as a complete asshole who only cared about himself and the power he could exert.

I cannot wait to watch the next four eps when Dave comes home tomorrow night. I do note that one of them is a Jin/Sun ep so maybe I'll feel better disposed towards him? I doubt it, though :P
