Don't they do all those monthly publications that start off as 99p per issue and then go up to 4.99 per issue?
Like Discover Egypt and Love DIY and Murder Casebook...

I don't think that's them. There are three companies doing those nowadays, but definitely not then.

They're soliciting recipes from food bloggers for a charity book and I've never heard of them as publishers despite a worldwide presence--well, an office in EMEA, Americas and ASPAC. Three offices counts as worldwide, right? :P

My mum had (I nearly typed has but she had a clear out) a huge collection of books published by them. They do craft books and knitting patterns and stuff - or used to. I'm talking seventies here. But yeah, I've heard of them. very well respected, as i remember...
