Oct. 12th, 2005 10:44 pmDriving went well, but now I ache. Four hours of driving is practically inhumane; I thought I was going to meld into the seat. Anyway, we've ironed out the problems that cropped up on my first test and I am now the mistress of changing lanes, negotiating horrendous roundabouts and reversing around bulgy corners. On the mock test I did this afternoon--which I failed, but I'm not so worried about that--I had the pleasure of eleven roundabouts. I might pass this time! I have so many things that I want to do....
Did I mention that my legs hurt? Heavy traffic = lots of clutch work. Ow.
I also did some writing on the train back from Reading. I now have an outline of my James/Lars Garage Days fic jotted down, along with the odd sentence or two which popped into my head. If I can still read my handwriting tomorrow--the train was very jerky today--then I'll start writing properly.
