Madagascar & Harry Potter (no spoilers)
Jul. 16th, 2005 05:38 pmWe watched Madagascar this morning and it was wonderful! There were a bunch of kids in the audience and they were such fun :D Kids, it turns out, can be quite deliciously snarky. I loved the penguins....
Before the film started, I bought the new Harry Potter. I wasn't looking forward to it, as I loathed OotP, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. After three and a bit hours of engrossed reading, I'm all done and it's so much better than the last book. The ALL-CAPS of RAGE Harry has gone, thank Glod. Its sad, dark, more tightly plotted than the last rambling volume, and for once I was right about a few twists and outcomes. I feel jolly smug.
And now I shall nap.
