Well, I've made a bunch of phone calls. The upshot of which, is that it's too early to find a house for September, but here... let me register you, and we promise to faithfully call you if something comes up. I'll be amazed if anyone does ever call back. I foresee a few weeks of dedicated website watching and possibly getting Dave to drive round and look for "To Let" signs.

In the meantime, I've done some writing, thrown out miscellaneous crap, wilted slightly in the heat, and I'm now making some mint choc-chip ice-cream which shall eventually cool me down. Dave is melting in Bristol and hasn't had the world's best first day there. Hopefully he'll cheer up. Neither of us does well with uncertainty, so this move to Bristol is a huge thing. It'll all feel much better as soon as we find a house. Right? Oh well, at least we're trying.

Tonight I shall be indulging in an orgy of Matt Damon films--The Bourne Supremacy and Dogma, I think--in an attempt to keep up the testosterone levels in the house ;) Mind you, Hank did send over Devon....

I love it to bits :D Dave has successfully managed to turn me into Kevin Smith's bitch--I can't get enough of his films these days. Back in 2000, I was saying very nasty things about them :P
