allanaTursunov has won! The over-hyped Henman is out! And what a fucking ace he laid down to win it on :D
Now perhaps the media will stop talking about Tim Henman as if he's Britain's best player ever. He's not. As Dave points out, the only reason he maintains a top 10 world ranking, is that he enters every tournament available, gets to the quarter-finals, chokes mightily, and crashes out. At least he's consistent.
I can only hope now, that the media doesn't pin all their hopes on poor Andy Murray. "Henman Hill" is already being renamed "Murray's Mount" for his match this afternoon which is bad enough....
ETA. As much as I love Auntie (the BBC), the commentators do need to stop with the bad puns. "Murray's Mount" is now "Murrayfield". What a godawful pun. (Murrayfield is the home of Scottish rugby and a famous stadium.) Oh and yes, I'm talking about Wimbledon.
