So, I'm off to the hospital bright and early for an x-ray of my left wrist (worst afflicted) to look for signs of erosion on the bones. Then blood tests to see what my immune markers are doing. From the look of the sheet, it's going to be 4 tubes--not overly happy about that. They'll probably come back inconclusive as it's going to be incredibly hard to differentiate between increased immune activity due to my eye problems and an increase elsewhere in the body. Alas, it would have been much better to have pulled blood on Sunday when I was in tears and my arms felt like they were on fire.
Ah well. It's always nice seeing Dr Perry. I have a new bottle of lovely eye drops and a fresh batch of library books. I finally managed to track down the shelf of books about writing books. To my great surprise, there was an out-of-print book on writing cookbooks so I've gleefully snapped that up.
