It would be fun to make Cliff Balder (Odin's son), who was killed by his own brother, Hodur. He's supposed to be reborn as Jul during Ragnarok, so the good thing about all this is we could someday see Cliff again. (But the bad thing is the only God to survive Ragnarok isn't Jul but Vidar, so I guess he comes back for nothing.)
Loki's responsible for Balder's death, even though it was Hodur who shot the fatal arrow.
Hodur is the god of darkness. He's blind and somber. Maybe he only got to be somber (and perhaps even blind, too) after he accidentally killed Balder. Mmmm, the angst.
Jason would be Vali, the son of Odin who was born solely to take vengeance on Loki for Balder's death. Or would Rob be Vali and Jason's an imposter (who's in over his head).
In any case, wouldn't it be better if Loki was Dave, so that Loki would have a reason to kill off BalderCliff?
And I'm not sure how Thor fits into the drama, but he sure looks good.
