Lazy Saturday.

My arm still hurts. Woe is me. I'm heading into the village on Tuesday to pick up a prescription, so if it's still sore then, I'll go and see the lovely Doctor Perry and hopefully he'll just tell me to diet instead of using nasty words like osteoarthritis. I foresee blood being taken, though.

Not much going on. I've spent most of the day trying to get warm and then to keep warm. I should really just wrap a duvet around me and wander around like that. In between trips back to bed for warmth (yes, the heating is on), I've written a little of chapter three, written a bunch of reviews, and re-visited one of my favourite childhood authors (Nightwatch by Alastair MacLean). Oh, and I just changed my LJ style--can't beat purple :D

Tonight, I may actually remember to watch Doctor Who!

ETA. So far, I recognise all of the locations used in Nightwatch. All of a sudden, I want to go back to Amsterdam. Wonder if I can persuade Dave....

You are right!! He does love purple! I think he even had the walls of his room at HQ painted in purple and there was a purple couch, too. :D

It's funny to read about how you are so cold that you want to wrap yourself in duvet, while I'm trying to figure out how to make myself and the room cooler :D.

I think it was Ev who told me about this--it was in the band commentary on SKOM which I must rewatch sometime. The Mary Sue in me got quite excited, as purple is my favourite colour too!

There are at least two scenes in SKOM shot in James's room.

Here he is sitting on his purple couch, with orange walls and leopard skin pattern cushions (!!)


I don't know if this is a different room or just a different corner in the same room. But it's definitely James's room. I think it's the same room as it has the same carpet floor. Purple walls, there you go! Those metal flames are very cool! :)

Oh, I remember the second one! (At least he has hot rods painted on the wall, instead of a doll house, lol) And the couch kicks ass with the leopard skin pillows.

I love the flames! I have no idea how I missed the couch during SKOM--I'd have fallen off my couch laughing at the cushions. I'm always very suspicious about men who have throw cushions on their couches and this just adds fuel to my opinions on James :D
