Eating healthily is expensive :( I knew this, but it really hit us in the pocket today. Oh well, I did manage to take advantage of some special offers, so maybe things will work out half-way economical in the fullness of time....

I've been hit with a blast of inspiration for NaNoWriMo. I have about two-thirds of my novel synopsis figured out and I've found some lovely details to work in. I can't wait to play around with Holywell Street--the street of pornographers--and the Turkish Baths. I've got the next month or so to attempt to plot everything out :D The nice thing about writing something historical is that if I get stuck, then I can just have a character pick up a newspaper and discourse at length on whatever horrendous event has happened recently. Or carpets. I could go all Anne Rice and talk about carpets for quite a while.

If only I could get similarly inspired for my other WIPs!!
