Two hours later, here's the result of my Afternoon O'Pain with Kamil. (Well, not really. It was sore overall, but only two bits made me want to jerk away. Some bits were painless. I must admit that long lines hurt like buggery but at least the pain fades fast.)



Based on just the outline session, I'd totally recommend him. He's really sweet, professional--he sterilised his work area immediately that he was done with me and changed his gloves each time that he had to touch something that wasn't sterile--and talented. OMG so talented! He drew out the entire design by hand and fiddled with it until I was 100% happy (and it barely needed any fiddling tbh.)

So next session will be colouring of the flowers (blood red fading to a pinky red), leaves, and some shading/shadow around the tribal swirls. Having picked out colours today I can't wait!!

PS Better pictures will be forthcoming. I'm keeping it wrapped overnight (and then re-wrapped between washings for the next two days as recommended.) Amazing how advice differs between artists....

I haven't booked it yet. I'm going back in about 10 days for a check-up and I'll book in then when we have a better idea of how fast its healing :)
