Today I have written -1000 words of crap. *beams*

I've been working on chapter four of Wild Things which is beginning to look semi-respectable after finally coming up with some decent words and cutting out the five previous versions of a paragraph. Huh. I've just had another look at it, and there's still plenty more to chop. Does anyone else write a paragraph, stare at it, and then write a few different versions before making a decision? Perhaps I'm just mildly insane. At any rate, I can't see me writing het for a living. Never again. I think I'd rather fuck than write about it.

My eyes are still painful and driving me crazy, but they're a bit clearer today. And! The lower-lid of the right eye has finally stopped twitching in the middle. What a fucking relief; it's been twitching since Monday.

Eyelid twitching! That would drive me nuts if it lasted more than half a minute, so you have my sincerest sympathies! (You have it for the painful & driving you crazy eyes, too.)

I don't usually write several versions of a paragraph, but that doesn't mean I never do. And I'm with ya on het. It's just...not...as much fun. You're very brave for taking it on.

Lol, I had the same thing happening a while ago. It fucking drove me crazy. I was so self-conscious I hardly could talk to people without thinking "They're staring at my twitching eye lid, they're staring at my..." all the time.

I ran out of male faeries :P Hence the het scene, which was originally concieved as an orgy. Thank god I came to my senses and cut it down drastically!!

I have no real objection to het, other than that I can have it every day, so it's not as much fun to read about as slash. I've never yet come home to find two hot guys fucking on the sofa, but I live in hope....

My eyes are rotten. I asked Santa for new ones, but my letter can't have reached him in time. Maybe next Christmas?

I am generally comfortable when I work in glasses, but I can't spend more time wearing contact lenses in from of the computer. Take it easy on your poor eyes; changing focus from the computer screen to something in the distance helps.
