No exchange today. The builder still isn't finished.

There are no words....

(It turns out that when I'm really furious, that I do lots of laundry and aggressive dish washing. Poor Speck must be wondering when his/her mummy will ever be happy again.)

Well, the cynical side of me says that the vendors don't want to pay for the work that I am forcing them to do. Therefore they are hoping that we will exchange with the work incomplete and leave us with the bill and a builder still fucking tramping around. I bet they won't even run a hoover round to clear up the mess.

The non-cynical side of me says that builders always say that they'll be finished and never are.

At any rate, I won't exchange contracts until the work has been completed satisfactorily. Much safer that way. It's just a real time crunch now, as we have to move on Mon/Tues due to the movers being booked up till the 1st of June :(
